The hope back in waiting

our promised land

December 5, 2021January 23, 2022 Lindsey

Time seems to have run past me. Snow replaces the leaves that were falling, the cold days becoming colder, and the evenings darker. Where have the days gone?

Life abundant

November 14, 2021November 14, 2021 Lindsey

I know several people who just seem to radiate joy, even through short texts or notes in the mail. Who brim with a fervor that spills over into the lives of others. Who are not content to simply exist, but who love and learn and grow.

Facing the storms

October 31, 2021January 23, 2022 Lindsey

Eternity changes everything. Yet to be fully life-changing, the hope of eternity must be coupled with the right understanding of our creation. After nearly 18 years and countless Old Testament lessons, the important of Genesis 1:31 finally struck me.

Dreams to behold

September 26, 2021 Lindsey

Some dreams are meant to fade. Others are meant to unfold in seasons. I found the latter true on Thursday when I began vocal lessons with a new instructor. Finding her was all God-ordained. In fact, I had given up on my dream of music.

A change that restores

September 19, 2021January 23, 2022 Lindsey

The season feels much like a hamster wheel. Stores are stocked with colored notebooks and backpacks in preparation for the new school year. Leaves are turning, nights are cooling, and apples are baking. The story that repeats each year shows us that change never truly changes. We prepare for the expected, the changing of seasons fostering hope for the next.

Hey there,

I’m Lindsey, a writer and dreamer at heart.

For years, I dreamed of having a place where I could share my thoughts. Words have always been a refuge for me, a means to process and ponder the world around me.
